SPN Wiki tells me this is Lucifer possessing Castiel rather than a third character. All good if I tag him in the memories as Lucifer but people can see from your subject lines that it's from his time in Castiel's body?

It is. But I would argue that some of the icons are usable for Castiel, too.
If at all possible I think it may be a good idea to tag him as both Castiel and Lucifer if that is feasible?

Technically feasible but I'm not in the habit here of tagging for usability, only for the actual characters: this is not a PB comm.

Fair. It is Lucifer pretending to be Castiel at first and then not bothering anymore. So it's definitely Lucifer, which means that it makes sense to tag him rather than Castiel.

Sorry for making this more complicated than it has to be. Thank you for your hard work!

Edit: I just noticed that some of the icons on this specific post actually ARE Castiel rather than Lucifer bc he is fighting back very briefly so Lucifer doesn't kill Sam. God, this is so confusing, I'm so sorry.
