I'll offer the same solution as the person above:

You can post more than the five characters just under the fandom tags and so on, but they just won't get indexed by character.

I think adding tags for icon makers would be a little much so I'll add above anon's suggestion to the rules page so people who don't know the shortcut know how to find by icon maker.
